Amicus, in Latin, means friend. In the legal world, an amicus curie is a friend of the court. In the event planning world, we are a friend to our clients.

I am a practicing attorney who has a love for planning memorable events. What started as a hobby turned into referrals, and developed into a business. Because of my shared love for the law and event planning, I only accept 10 clients a year. This ensures my clients receive my undivided attention-to-detail commitment that I am known for.

People often ask how I got into this area. Looking back, I’ve always been involved in planning events. I worked for an event company in high school, I was recruitment chair for my sorority in college, and I worked at one of the largest event marketing firms in Los Angeles. In law school, I planned the annual extravagant Barrister’s Ball. Since passing the bar, I’ve planned countless corporate events throughout the year.  As a result, I began receiving requests and referrals for exclusive private events – birthdays, showers, fundraisers, ferrari club dinners, retirements, corporate holiday parties, and of course, weddings. Eventually, my hobby evolved into a business. In sum, I have a wealth of event experience with the added bonus of a legal background. Negotiating contracts, and finding solutions under stress is my specialty.

My husband jokes that I have an uncanny ability to pick out the most expensive item on any list (jewelry, furniture, hotels, flowers, decor). I know quality when I see it…

Perhaps it’s my Italian and Asian heritage that cultivates my love for elegant decor, delectable palettes, and exclusive venues. Traveling the world and experiencing other cultures was a priority in my family. I’ve been fortunate to experience luxury around the world. From architecture, to opulence, to natural wonder, it is a welcomed challenge to recreate these unique experiences for each event.

As an event planner, I blend my legal background with my aesthetic abilities. The result, is an exclusive, signature event that is meticulously organized and captures the reason for celebration.
